Successful project kick-off
The project kicked off successfully in 2019 October. As it is defined in the work plan, the partners started to work on two main work packages.
- On the one hand, a handbook is created to give street people an overview on sustainable architecture, and through case studies it also shows how to reduce the environmental impact of different building solutions using a life-cycle approach. The handbook is in progress and will be posted on the website after finalization in four languages in the first half of 2021.
- On other hand the development of a web application has been started based on Bionova's Carbon Designer tool.
Both development is well under way although unfortunately the COVID-19 slowed down the process a bit. The planned dissemination and multiplier events moved to the virtual space.
